NZP Products:
NZP is a physically and thermally stable, ultra low expansion, insulating ceramic that can be formed and machined easily. It is commercially available as stock items (contact us for listing and prices) at SMAHT Ceramics, Inc. (formerly LoTEC or COIC). NZP products are also custom-designed and formed as is desired by the customer. We achieve consistency of quality using our established processes such as slip casting and injection molding, process controls, and product quality checks. Our goal is for our NZPs to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Alumina and Other Ceramics
In keeping with the business focus, SMAHT-CERAM develops and produces other "Stable Materials At High Temperatures". These mainly include Alumina and also Mullite, ATA, STM, and Silica. Complex-shaped Alumina components have been custom-produced using injection molding and sold commercially. Some unique, large-sized components have also been produced by injection molding Mullite.
Contract R&D
With its small team of highly innovative, experienced, and dedicated materials' professionals, SMAHT-CERAM actively bids and undertakes various small-business Research & Development projects. Such technology-development projects are either government or private-funded and cater to both defense and civilian applications. Primarily, SMAHT-CERAM's technologies are in the area of ceramics and ceramics-based composites.
